Local Diabetes Management Resources

Controlling diabetes is very important to lower the risk for eye disease, kidney problems, nerve damage, and high cholesterol, a major risk factor for heart disease. It can also reduce the risk of death from diabetes (the 7th leading cause of death in the US), as well as lower healthcare costs and reduce visits to the doctor/emergency department.

If you are diabetic or know someone local who is, please review and share this list of diabetes management resources for Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties.
