Good afternoon families,
On Wednesday, May 1st, Beaver Run along with East Salisbury, Wicomico Middle, and Wicomico High School will be hosting the 4th Annual Children and Family Mental Health Awareness BBQ at Winter Place Park from 4:00-6:30 pm.
We have over 30 local agencies/organizations that will be sharing community resources with families. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about what is available in our area. Each child/adult must visit three vendors in order to receive a FREE hot dog/snow cone.
There is a FREE shuttle bus that will be picking up kids and families from East Salisbury, Wicomico Middle and Wicomico High School. Please see the link below along with QR code on the flyer.
ALL primary and elementary aged children MUST be accompanied by an adult. When you arrive at Winter Place Park, please check in at your child's school to indicate which school your child/children attend. A staff member or volunteer will provide you with a bracelet that serves as your ticket for a hot dog/snow cone.

The Wicomico Teacher of the Year Spring Celebration was a very special night of celebrating top teachers as well as supporters from the community. Here are some highlights from the evening, including recognition of the 2024 Friends of Education, Peninsula Orthopaedic Associates and the Salisbury Wicomico Arts Council. Thanks to both organizations for what they do to support youth both now and in the past.
