Letter days for elementary students (including those at Pittsville Elementary and Middle) are posted before each week of classes during the school year. Reminder: Schools will dismiss students 3 hours early on Friday, Nov. 8. That day is also the last day of the 1st marking term. Report cards will be distributed Nov. 15.
Reminder: The schools and offices of Wicomico County Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 5 for Election Day.

Reminder: Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3. Please be sure to set your clocks back one hour for the switch back to Eastern Standard Time for the winter.

The first Superintendent's Open Door Session of the school year will take place Wednesday, Oct. 23 at the school system's main office on Northgate Drive. Chat time with the superintendent is first come, first served from 4-6 pm.

Reminder: Thursday, Oct. 17 is an early dismissal day, with students dismissed three hours early. Schools are closed Friday, Oct. 18 for the Maryland State Education Association Convention.

Join us for our exciting Costume Parade on October 31st! We can’t wait to see everyone in their creative outfits!
The book fair is coming up on October 28th - November 1st.
It kicks off October 25th with our Book or Treat event from 5-7pm.
Students will be able to come shop during their media time. They can also shop any time between 9:30 - 3:00pm if they have money or an adult is with them.
Setting up an eWallet is also a great way to pay and not worry about lost cash!
