Good afternoon, Panda Family! 🐼

May is fast approaching, and our Student Support Team is preparing for our annual Children’s Mental Health Matters Family Fun Night on May 1, 2026, at Pemberton.

The county event is May 8, 2026, at James M. Bennett High School and includes an art show. With enough interest, Pemberton will host its own art display and voting at Family Fun Night! Last year, a Pemberton 4th grader placed 2nd overall at the county event.

🎨 What does mental health mean to you?

📅 Due April 10, 2026, to the school social worker

👴👵 Yesterday was the 100th day of school at Pemberton Elementary and the kids absolutely crushed it! From creative 100-item shirts to dressing up like they’re 100 years old, they celebrated this milestone in the best way. 100 days down, and we couldn’t be prouder! 💯

✏️🧮Last week, we had so much fun celebrating students who reached their ELA and Math goals on their MAP assessments by playing Winter Bingo! Thank you so much for the amazing prizes that were donated by our phenonenal community partners: Lighthouse of the Hope Worship Center, Mt. Enoch Holy Church, and Tabernacle of Prayer Church! We also want to congratulate 2 teams of teachers that had the most growth in their subject areas! Ms. Cooling and Ms. Kenna, our amazing 5th grade ELA teachers, are the faces behind the huge growth with our 5th grade students. Also, Ms. Fries and Ms. Joseph, our awesome 3rd grade math teachers, are responsible for the top math growth with their students. They will be receiving gift cards from both Vernon Powell and ChickFila, who have generously supported our students and teachers this year at Pemberton! Thank you to these outstanding educators for showcasing the excellent teaching and learning happening here every day. ⭐👏
