Arsh is always following Panda PRIDE! He is a good friend to others and is always kind. - Mrs. Davis Watdley Gerard is a role model in our classroom on a daily basis. He is kind to others and always displays Panda Pride. - Mrs. Owens Cole Kressin is a star student every day! Every day, Cole comes in with a positive attitude is a role model for our students. He works hard and is motivated to be the best he can be. He's asks for assistance when he doesn't understand. Cole shows PANDA PRIDE every single day. - Mrs. Fries Tikiya Chapman is a hard-working student that always gives 100%. She is kind to her classmates and is the 1st student to offer to help others. - Mrs. Rhoads Kingston Hunter is respectful of his peers and teachers. - Ms. Smiley Piper Ellis works incredibly hard each and every day. She is always participating, helping other students, and being a good role model for her peers. - Ms. Carapico Kyrie Stephens follows school rules and is kind to everyone in class. Phoebe Feather is an Incredible Kid because she is always friendly and kind to others. She also loves to participate in class and help others learn. - Mrs. Owens Makenzie Morris used her creativity and Canva skills to create a resource to help her classmates learn the basic multiplication facts. She allowed me to share it on our Google Classroom so that her peers could use this resource whenever they want! She is a leader both academically and socially. She is always willing to help a friend or her teacher. Makenzie is a positive role model for her peers on a daily basis! - Mrs. McDonough Lennon Ballard is being nominated for Incredible Kid of the Month because she truly embodies the Panda Pride every day! She’s always kind to her classmates and she goes out of her way to make sure no one feels left out, whether it’s playing with someone at recess or sitting with them at lunch. Lennon is also incredibly inclusive of students with disabilities, showing compassion and care for everyone. In the classroom, she comes prepared and ready to learn, and she’s always willing to help out when needed. I’m so proud of her and all the amazing things she does! Keep shining, Lennon! 🌟 - Mrs.Kopp Carrigan Haugh is selfless, a huge helper, always concerned about others, and loves to make you smile all while maintaining good grades. - Mrs. Rodriguez Arya Hammer is always willing to help her peers. She is very patient and compassionate with her classmates. - Ms. Horn Carsyn Williams is kind and always willing to help her teachers and classmates. She has been a great friend by helping a classmate learn and adjust to the classroom routines. - Mrs. McClintock Daleyza Alvarado- Rivera is consistently kind to her classmates. She works hard in class every day, no matter how she is feeling. She is always trying to lift up other students when they are sad. This weekend provides two opportunities to see students perform on stage, with Wicomico Middle presenting "The Big Bad Musical" today and Saturday and Wicomico High presenting "Clue" today, Saturday and Sunday. Come be entertained while supporting our talented students! This post includes two more entertainment opportunities, including next week's audition information for the All County Musical, "Shrek." That show will be presented in the spring. In the meantime, the James M. Bennett High Rock & Roll Revival will have eight shows in the JMB Auditorium Feb.. 7-9 and 13-16, with seats reserved and tickets available now.

Due to schools being closed for inclement weather on Wednesday, Jan. 22, the Superintendent's Open Door Session that was scheduled for Jan. 22 has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 29 from 4-6 p.m. at the school system's main office on Northgate Drive, Salisbury.

Congratulations to Zavian Ahmed, Miles DeJohn, and Donaldson Jean for placing 1st at the elementary level for the South region in the MCEE Stock Market Game! 🎉 Under the guidance of Mrs. Rhoads, this talented 5th-grade team achieved an impressive 19% growth in their virtual stock portfolio, earning them top honors. Their stellar performance also placed them 12th out of over 300 teams across Elementary, Middle, and High Schools in the region. Well done, team! 🐼💙
