Here we go again with another snow day. ... Wicomico County continues to recover from Monday's snowstorm, and many roads and sidewalks throughout our county are not yet ready to safely accommodate school buses and walkers on Thursday, Jan. 9th. We are thankful to Educational Systems FCU and its employees for their generous donation of hats, gloves, socks and other winter items through the company's Warming Hearts and Hands initiative. The Division of Student & Family Services team of Wicomico County Public Schools (represented here by pupil personnel workers Knita Cartwright and Jacqualynn Deal) will make sure these donations are given to students and family members who need them. Hello Westside Primary Families, The Winter Wonderland Workshop is fast approaching!! This is such a special holiday experience for our students! This unique event allows children to enjoy the joy of giving by shopping for holiday gifts for two loved ones. 🗓 Dates: Set up: Friday, December 13th (afternoon 1:00 till) Shopping Days: December 16th & 17th Make-Up Day: December 18th (morning only) Clean up: December 18th (11:00 am till) 📍 Location: Westside Primary Media Center What to Expect: Gift Selection: Students can choose two gifts for family members of their choice. Gift Wrapping: Volunteers will be available to help wrap gifts, making it a complete and joyful experience! Winter Wonderland Workshop - We’re gearing up for our Winter Wonderland Workshop and would love your help! ❄️We are looking for volunteers to assist with the event and donations of gently used items that could be used as gifts, wrapping paper, gift bags, tissue paper.
