CHILDREN AND SCREEN TIME! On January 29, 2026, the Infants and Toddlers Program, in collaboration with the Judy Center, will host a caregiver training titled “Children and Screen Time: What We Know and What Should Parents Do About It?”
Dr. Matt Edelstein, Director of the Brief Treatment Clinic at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, will present to parents, caregivers, childcare providers, and private/parochial school partners during a morning and early evening session.
This is a free training for our community and is paid for using IDEA Part C and Judy Center grant funds. Dr. Edelstein’s presentation will provide attendees with greater knowledge and awareness of the impact of screen time on behavior and development. Additionally, attendees will learn more about how to set limits on devices and other media applications.
