The following school administrative changes took effect July 1 for Wicomico County Public Schools. Please congratulate all these principals and assistant principals as they put their experience and talents to work in new or continuing assignments for the 2026-2027 school year.
Principal and assistant principal changes are listed first, followed by a full listing of 2026-2027 school leadership teams with principals and assistant principals (deans of students to be added later this summer). One assistant principal position remains to be filled.
Principal Changes:
Principal, Delmar Elementary: Terry Dunn (formerly Principal of Salisbury Middle). He replaced Dr. Ryan Kessler, who is now the school system’s Director of Human Resources and Employee Relations.
Principal, Glen Avenue Elementary: John “Chris” McLaughlin (promotion; formerly an assistant principal at Beaver Run Elementary)
Principal, Prince Street Elementary: Christina Stewart (formerly Principal at Westside Intermediate)
