Due to schools being closed for inclement weather on Wednesday, Jan. 22, the Superintendent's Open Door Session that was scheduled for Jan. 22 has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 29 from 4-6 p.m. at the school system's main office on Northgate Drive, Salisbury.

January 27 - January 31 will be our Attendance Spirit Week. There will be drawings each day per grade level for prizes for students who have had good attendance this far. Prizes will include t-shirts, lanyards, drawstring bags, candy, and more. Looking forward to a great week of school spirit and fun :)

The PBIS Spring Golf Tournament is right around the corner! If you would like to register a team (email mmatonak@mywcps.org) or sponsor a hole (email kewells@mywcps.org). The Mardela High School SGA presents the Winter Wonderland Formal. The dance will take place in the cafeteria from 7:30-10pm on Saturday, February 1st. Congratulations to the students who earned a spot in the 2025 All Shore Band, an audition-based ensemble made up of top band students across the 8 counties on the Eastern Shore. HIGH SCHOOL: Riley Klebon (3rd overall clarinet), Ethan Holland (3rd overall tenor sax), Max Green (1st overall baritone sax), Evan Larson (2nd overall trumpet), Nick Davala (2nd overall trombone), and Lydia King (5th overall trombone).
