Maryland was well represented at the 2024 World Food Prize Borlaug Dialogue and Global Youth Institute (GYI) October 29 - November 1. Nobel and World Food Prize Laureates, and more than 1,000 global leaders and 175 students from 75 countries attended the World Food Prize's international symposium learning about our planet’s most critical challenges and to discuss diverse solutions to these grand global issues. Thank you, Theresa Maggio (right) and Diamond Nwaeze (left) UMES 4H Extension for supporting and preparing students for this opportunity. Congratulations to Olivia Henson Century High, Morgan Dawson, and Jasmine Tribeck Parkside CTE Horticulture. We love to see that 2/3 of the Maryland Delegation were from Parkside CTE Horticulture!
