Parkside Horticulture is always looking for ways to beautify and support the Delmarva Peninsula! Seeds to Feed, Seeds for Science, Seeds for Beauty. Parkside Horticulture students had the opportunity to organize and distribute over 6,000 seed packs donated by Target via Adopt a Block organization. An amazing variety of Annuals, Vegetables, and Perennials. We have germinated and yesterday planted 2,000 sunflowers, zinnias, and marigolds for our Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration and remembrance gardens. Thank you, Kaitlyn Tyler, Lily Goodyear, and Alex Giordano for your help. Thank you, Diamond Nwaeze, and Teresa Maggio for help in making these available to school gardens.
